REMEMBERING WILLIAM COLEMAN - Pool report
from the National Cathedral: "Saturday morning VIPs from the political,
legal, civil rights communities came to honor the life of former Secretary of
Transportation, Medal of Honor recipient, personal friend to Justice Thurgood
Marshall, African American Republican lawyer, William T. Coleman, Jr. He graduated
first in his class at Harvard Law and was the first African American to clerk
at the Supreme Court and served as a lawyer on the Warren Commission before
being on the team that won Brown V. Board of Education (POLITICO Playbook, October 29, 2017)
