ABOUT THAT OSTP VACANCY - It appears the director position at the White House
Office of Science and Technology Policy is, indeed, still vacant, according to
the response MT recently received to a FOIA request. "OSTP ... was unable
to locate any records responsive to this request," the office noted when
asked if there was a status update about whether the director's role had been
